About Mount Logan
The highest mountain in Canada is Mount Logan at 5,959 m, deep inside Kluane National Park in the Yukon's Saint Elias Mountains. It is also the second highest summit in North America after Denali, and has the largest base circumference of any non-volcanic mountain on Earth. Climbing it is a full expedition: a ski-plane flight onto a glacier, two to three weeks of load-carrying on a heavily crevassed massif, and some of the coldest weather recorded outside the polar regions.
