About Rysy
Straddling the Polish-Slovak border, Rysy is Poland's highest point. The marked trail from Morskie Oko is one of the most popular alpine hikes in Central Europe. First climbed in 2019 — making it the first-ever country high point summit — and revisited in 2025.

My first ever highpoint! 2019. I went alone, hiked up in boots, down in sandals! I was so unused to hiking that both my ankles were swollen with water for days after — never mind, I was hooked! Only a week later I booked and went to Zugspitze, Germany!
